Leo Donovan got out of bed and looked at his bedside clock. Late for class again, but Leo didn’t care. He had ways to get excused for tardiness. It was called the art of forgery, something Leo had learned over the years and has become a master of. After he got dressed in a grey tee and blue jeans, he pulled out his wand and a blank parchment. He muttered an incantation and words appeared on the parchment. Please excuse Mr. Donovan from being tardy do to being in the Hospital Wing. Sincerely, Madam Pomfrey. He grinned in delight at his handiwork before folding it up and putting it in the back pocket of his jeans. He then put on a his favorite brown jacket and put on socks and his converse. He pulled his hood over his head, put on his sunglasses, which he wore regardless of the fact he was inside, grabbed his school bag, and headed out the door.

When he reached the classroom, he pushed open the door and walked in. He walked up to the front desk, not paying attention at all to his surroundings, and placed his note on the professor’s desk. The Professor looked a bit peeved at something, probably something from before Leo entered the class. The Professor looked the note over and nodded. Leo took a seat at an empty table behind fellow Slytherin Akito Sohma.

He scoffed as the Professor took away more points. This tactic was useless against him because he honestly didn't care. He casually slipped his hands down into his pockets, and then, out of the corner of his eye saw Alexis' hand go up. He cringed as she did so and sent a worthy of a death-threat glare her way. It seemed that didn't matter to her, because the Professor noted her hand and allowed her to speak. Akito twitched with each word she said, mainly because of the nickname. He looked back over at the Professor, awaiting a reply to what she stated.

The Professor smiled kindly at Alexis and nodded in agreement with her, "You are most -certainly- correct, Miss Locke." his tone with her was softer and less strict than the one he had been using with the Slytherin Boy. "Mr. Sohma, you are required to do this to pass your Seventh Year of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Believe me, I have to deal with at least four or five students doing this every year, but it is a /requirement/. That is...if you want to pass." he finished with a stern look.

Akito scowled at his response. He wanted to pass this class, especially considering this would be the last time he would ever have to do it. So, he nodded slowly and made his way to the front of the class, where a Boggart was rumbling around in a closet of some sort. He gave a feeble glance at Leo, and a glare at Alexis. Then he stood in front of the closet, waiting for the Professor to let it out.

"'Riddikulus', right, Professor?" he asked through clenched teeth. The urge to lash out at the Professor was unbearable. He wanted to murder him, torment him, make him feel /pain/.

"You are most -certainly- correct, Miss Locke." Alexis rolled her eyes a little of course she was right. That Slytherin boy was got going to get away with anything...as long as she could help it. But all she saud was, "Thank you, Professor." She then heard him say, "Mr. Sohma, you are required to do this to pass your Seventh Year of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Believe me, I have to deal with at least four or five students doing this every year, but it is a /requirement/. That is...if you want to pass." Alexis nodded a little, and almost yelled out 'Haha', but she refrained from it. She saw the glare Aki gave her, and just smiled back. She didn't want him to hate her...but it was fun teasing him. Of course he detested her, but she didn't really care.

"'Riddikulus', right, Professor?" Alexis heard him ask, as Kellador merely said, "Yes, Mr.Sohma, that is correct. Please, carry on. We're all waiting."

He sneered at the Professors response and the nodded, taking in a sharp breath, then flicking his wand, opening the door to the wardrobe. He muttered something at Alexis, 'Looks like you get your wish, Princess.' she obviously couldn't hear, but she might've been able to see his eyes drifting over to her for a split second, with narrowed eyebrows. He looked back at the Boggart and watched it come out, he held his wand ready, he only wanted this to last for a second. The Boggart changed into a boy and walked up to him quickly and suddenly, smooched him. It seemed as if a few other nameless Hogwarts students appear--an illusion, of course-- and began laughing at them. He broke the kiss and said the incantation, the laughing, faceless students vanished and the Boggart became a girl. This, obviously, wasn't going to make the students laugh, at least, Akito didn't think it would. He had said the incantation and that was all he could do.

He gave each person in the room a glare and stormed back to his seat, pulling his hood more over his face and becoming utterly silent. How could they have made him do that? What sick...twisted cruel minds. He twitched occasionally. That was -not- something he wanted other people to see. His fear, was for someone to find out about

The professor cleared his throat and looked over at Alexis, and nodded. "Well then, Miss Locke, you next." he gave the Boggart a glance and forced a few laughs to keep it away.

Leo felt himself glare at the Hufflepuff girl, Alexis Locke. She was going to get herself in a lot of trouble if she continued to get herself on Akito’s bad side. Pathetic Hufflepuffs should know better than to bother Slytherins. Leo hoped that the girl would be one of those who cringed and cried at the site of their boggart. He needed a laugh and she needed to be publicly humiliated. The girl seemed too cheery, probably one of those who craved attention and admiration, so being humiliated would be perfect to watch.

Leo watched as Akito faced the boggart. It changed shape into a boy and kissed Akito. Other people, all illusions of the boggart, appeared and laughed at the boy and Akito. Then Akito made the boggart a girl. He didn’t seem to happy about being forced to face the boggart. Leo’s eyes stayed on the Slytherin. Did Akito like guys? It would explain the boggart. Leo couldn’t blame him being afraid of the laughter of other people finding out. Heck Leo hadn’t even told anyone about his bisexuality, well other than Andromeda Black, so he couldn’t blame Akito for not telling anyone either.

Leo heard the professor announce that the Locke girl was next. Leo couldn’t wait to see what her boggart was. Probably being laughed at or hated by her peers, typical of a cheery, popular girl; always a good laugh when they break down and cry.

"Well then, Miss Locke, you next." Her bright blue eyes got huge. Her...go....next? No way! She didn't want to have to go at all! Of course she would never say this out loud....but honestly! She bite her bottom pink lip for a moment. Sighing, she nodded for a second. She got up, and started to walk towards the front of the classroom. As she past Aki, she whispered, "Lovely Boggart." A smirk played at her lips, she never missed a beat with walking though. When she reached the front of the room, she bit her lip again. Did she really have to do this? She looked over at the Professor, and he gave her a small nod. Wincing, she pulled out her small wand.

She stood infront of the wardrobe. She closed her eyes for a moment, to think of a really happy moment. She smiled at her memory. It was when her two brothers and her got up in the middle of the night, went outside, and just danced in the snow. In was the first snow of Winter, and they wanted to enjoy it. She remembered how they had a snowball fight until one of the maids called them in at about three in the morning. She was then able to point her wand at the wardrobe.

That's when she saw it- her little brother John dying. She gave a little gasp. It was terrible. A small tear left her eye. She just closed her eyes tight, thinking of her memory. "Riddikulus!" Alexis yelled a little worried, and her Boggart went away, and turned into her brother and her playing chess. A huge grin was across her face. She had done it. She looked over at Professor Kellador, who just nodded his head at her. Alexis skipped back to her seat, and smiled a shy smile. That was really hard for her to do-but she did it. "Very well done, Miss Locke. Would anyone like to go next? How about you, Mr. Donovan?"

He eyed her as she, Alexis, walked by him. Rude...so very, very rude. And those who were rude to him, were broken quickly. He would make sure of it...after his detention, he would track her down, and he would break her cheery stupid spirit. Nothing could stop him. This girl would be easy to manipulate, and he already had a plan formulated in his head. He wasn't at all afraid to harm a girl. They were just as capable to defend themselves as boys, and considering she was the same height, and probably the same weight, he might've been even a little lighter. His stomach was starting to look almost anorexic, not quite though. It was to the point of disgusting thinness yet, but, almost.

He glanced back at Leo, and then realized there was another boy in here, and the other boy, Leo, had seen it. He must've known! How utterly embarrassing he slumped himself back down on the next, resting the upper half of his upper body on the surface. He barely payed attention, and was only vaguely aware that Leo's name had been called next. He lifted his hood just enough so that he could see what his Boggart was. He watched absent mindedly, paying more attention to his own thoughts than the sight infront of himself.

Break, break, break into little tiny pieces...

Leo almost wanted to laugh at the silliness of the Hufflepuff’s boggart. No it wasn’t what he expected, but instead a boy dying. Death was always a fear people seemed to have, but it wasn’t one for him. Death was something that happened to everyone, so Leo just accepted it as it was. He wasn’t like most people living in fear of it and worrying all about it. Pathetic really, to waste your life fearing that the end is near. You should live life while you have it, was Leo’s opinion. When the girl casted the Riddikulas charm, the boggart turned into a boy playing chess with her.

Leo’s eyes narrowed at the teacher when he called his name. Leo got up and stalked over to the front of the wardrobe. Might as well get it over with, He thought to himself. It was useless worrying about others seeing your fears or cringing at the thought of what it might be. No matter what he was going to have to see it, so why not approach it with some dignity.

The boggart began to shape. A white surrounded Leo. He could see nothing at all, but the ever going whiteness. He felt his stomach clench; he was alone. His greatest fear was to be all alone. He quickly pulled out his wand and did the incantation, making the white disappear and take form of his mother and friend Andromeda Black; two people he could always talked to, well maybe not the latter anymore. Andromeda was with that pathetic mudblood Ted Tonks, so Leo considered it as if his only true friend had betrayed him.

Leo walked back to his seat, acting as if it had had no effect on him, but in a way Leo still felt that lonely feeling inside him. In a way he was alone. He had ‘friends’, but he knew they didn’t care much about him like a real friend would.

“Well done Mr. Donovan,” The Professor spoke and Leo rolled his eyes. “Ms. Bones would you like to go next?”

Watching Leo's Boggart made her a little sad. What an upsetting Boggart...being alone. She wanted to go over there...but she stayed right in her seat. She couldn't show that she felt bad for this Slytherin boy. She just played with her blonde hair. She noticed that his Boggart turned into an older woman, and Andromeda. She only knew her because she was Ted Tonk's girlfriend. Wondering why she was there, she couched. She always coughed when she thinking a little too hard. Not that she really should be thinking hard about it. A small little sigh could be heard from her, and she went back to playing with her hair. Without even knowing it, she was drumming her fingers, and tapping her foot.

She heard the Professor say something about Amelia going next. She smiled at her best friend. "Good luck." She said to her. not stopping drumming her fingers and tapping her foot.

So.... the Professor had decided to show up after all. Wonderful. And Akito had lost Slytherin points and gotten a detention. Stupid meddling Hufflepuffs. Marigold turned towards the door as Leo walked in. She smiled coldly. He was always nice to have around. Mari turned back towards the front of the classroom as Aki stood and went to confront his boggart. She worked hard to control her outward composure as the boggart turned into a boy and kissed the Slytherin. Illusions of watching students laughed and Marigold stared straight ahead, putting on a bored facade. When Akito said, "Riddikulus," Mari blinked slowly as the boy turned into a girl. Interesting. Marigold wondered what it meant. She could guess that the Slytherin felt humiliated perhaps and angry at the Professor and Locke especially. That could work towards the favor. Marigold shook her head slightly and watched passively and Locke met with her own boggart. The Slytherin raised her eyebrows slightly as the boggart changed into a boy... dying... The Hufflepuff waved her wand and the boggart changed into a boy and Locke playing chess. Marigold restrained herself from rolling her eyes as Locke grinned widely. How juvenile. Then, it was Leo's turn. This, Marigold was interested in. Her grey eyes shrewdly took in the white smoke that surrounded him... Was the boggart representing loneliness. She smirked to herself. These boggarts could be instrumental in providing useful information. Leo dispelled the white smoke and the boggart turned into a woman and Meda at 'Riddikulus'. Andromeda... Marigold wondered if the two would remain friends, now that the girl had been labelled as a blood traitor.

“Ms. Bones would you like to go next?” Marigold rolled her eyes. There wasn't much information you could get from a Hufflepuff.... frankly, they were a waste of time.

Bane of my existence thy name is Kellador... Amelia thought with a sigh as she stood up and headed to the front of the class. She heard Alexis wish her luck, and with a slight smile, she mumbled back,

"Thanks." Mentally, she prepared herself for her boggart-she expected it to be something happening to her own younger brother, Edgar. It may have seemed strange to some that Hufflepuffs all had fears about their families-but it was just how they were. Alexis did it...I can do it...Alexis did it...I can do it... Silently Amelia repeated this mantra over and over in her head. If she saw something happening to Edgar, she would change it to when milk had squirted out of his nose because he had gotten over excited when he was eight years old. Alexis did it...I can do it... she repeated one last time before a loud bang echoed throughout the classroom.

Her eyes widened, people were running past her. People she knew, some of them hurt. Her father...Edgar...her mother...Alexis and Isabella? But weren't they back there? They were all screaming and pointing, but she couldn't see what-beyond their heads was a strange blackness. She didn't know where she was anymore, she could vaguely remember being in Defense Against the Dark Arts, but that must have been ages ago...earlier that month perhaps...wait...no...was it? Come on Amelia...remember where you are...Defense Against the Dark Arts...what were you doing. She squeezed her eyes closed and tried to drown out the screams that seemed to pierce through her body like glass. Boggarts! That's what we were doing! This is a boggart! she raised her wand triumphantly and shouted, "Riddikulus!"

Immediately, the blackness cleared, and the people's screams turned to song as they began singing a nonsense song. With a sigh, Amelia went back to her seat, rubbing her eyes. That was much, much more difficult than she thought it would be.

Alexis watched as Amelia faced her Boggart. It was a pretty scary one. She even saw herself, running, getting hurt. Her eyes got huge. It seemed like forever when her Boggart changed into people singing. Sighing to herself, Alexis watched Amelia sit back down next to her. She was rubbing her eyes a little. She felt bad for her best friend. Giving her a small smile, Alexis asked, "You ok, Millie? Wasn't that really difficult? You did a great job, though." Not really wanting to see anymore Boggarts, Alexis sat back in her chair, and got out her nail filer. She looked up, and saw the Professor looking at them. Turning a little pink, she looked back down at her nails. She didn't really like getting caught. Oh well...she bet he would really care too much, if he would care at all. She looked back at Amelia, waiting for her to answer her questions. She wondered who would be going next. She bet that Marigold girl would. Alexis bet her Boggart would be something stupid. She did, however, sit up, and continued to look down.

"Nicely done, Miss Bones. You handled that very well." Professor Kellador said to Amelia. "You looked a bit scared, but not to worry, that was a hard Boggart to face." He paused for a moment, "Miss Locke, please put a way your nail toy and pay attention. Who should go next? Ah! Miss Greengrass. How about you?" He sat back down at his desk, and smiled at his class.

A smirk danced across Alexis' face. Here we go, She thought,Another lovely Slytherin gets to show the class her Boggart. Great. Lovely. Wonderful. Just as long as I don't have to look at it... She heard Professor Kellador cough, and she looked up, again. She gave him one of her best smiles. She could see him sigh a bit. Miss Grenngrass, if you would?"

Lost in thought, she almost didnt hear Alexis speak to her-it was as if everything was delayed slightly. She turned to Alexis, who gave her a slight smile and asked if she was all right. Am I? I just faced a boggart I wasn't expecting...and the whole Slytherins saw it too...am I all right? she wondered. It took her a second to find her voice, and when she did, it was a whisper-mostly on purpose, so that Kellador wouldn't hear that they were talking, for some reason he didn't like it that they weren't listening to him talk. "Yeah, I'm okay. I just...was expecting a different boggart, that's all." she explained, looking down at the desk just like Alexis was.

Looking up at Kellador, the brunette managed a small smile as he complimented and reassured her. "Thank you, Professor Kellador. I'm fine now." And after a moment, she was. A nasty little voice in her head warned that she would have trouble sleeping tonight. Before she could continue this train of thought, Kellador then caught Alexis filing her nails, and Amelia couldnt resist a little giggle, despite how she nearly felt like vomiting a second before. The students were fighting against their worse fears in front of the class-and Alexis was calmly filing her nails as if that were the only thing in the world that mattered. It was nice to have a friend who was able to remain placid in the face of multiple terrors-even if they were imaginary.

It was then Greengrass' turn to share a boggart, and Amelia glanced up at the clock. Maybe the class would end soon and she could get to Transfiguration without much of a bother. She longed for the simple matter of changing a mouse into a fur muff.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I just...was expecting a different boggart, that's all." Alexis gave her friend a warm smile. "You really did very well." She paused for a second before added in a much quieter voice, "I know what you mean about expecting a different boggart.I thought mine was going to be..." Her voice trailed off, not finishing that sentence. She just gave her another warm smile, and looked back up at Kellador. He wasn't looking at them, but she wondered how long /that/ would last. She heard Amelia giggle.

"What?" She asked, giggling herself. "You don't really think I'm gonna sit here and watch the Slytherins face their stupid boggarts, do you? Honestly...seeing them all alone, and without people....one is enough for me." She heard Kellador say something about a 'nail toy'. She giggled again. Alexis also heard that Marigold would be going next. She shock her blonde head. "Oh maybe I /do/ want to watch this boggart. It might be worth it." Rolling her eyes, she put her filer away, and pulled out a hair brush. She smiled as she started to brush her hair.

"Miss Locke, This is Defence against the Dark Arts, not beauty school. Would you please mind putting away that brush, and joining the rest of the class?" She thought she saw a tiny smile across Kellador's face. It was gone with a blink of an eye. "Miss Greengrass, we are all waiting."

"Ah! Miss Greengrass. How about you?" Marigold stiffened almost unnoticeably when the Professor called on her. She sat, deep in thought. What would her boggart be? Marigold had a vague idea... and she certainly didn't want the rest of the class to see. But... if she handled it well, then perhaps her Slytherin peers might even respect her for it? She mentally shrugged. "Miss Greengrass, if you would?" Marigold's head rose up slowly. She been unconsciously staring at the floor. Mari smiled sweetly. It was amazing how so few Professor's saw through her sweet facade. She was never overly abusive of Mudbloods and those of the lesser houses in class... Professors were supposed to think of her as sweet, intelligent, with a slight leaning towards the darker side of things. Marigold stood smoothly and walked to the front of the room. She drew her wand.

The boggart appeared. Marigold blinked. Illusions of students suddenly appeared around her. She looked down at herself and saw that she wore Gryffindor robes. Looking up again, she noticed that the students were laughing and pointing and calling her 'Mudblood.' Marigold sneered. Who did they think they were? Were they insane? She could never be a mudblood OR a Gryffindor... Suddenly, she realized. This was her boggart. Sneering at the illusions, Marigold gathered herself and waved her wand. "Riddikulus!" she cried sharply. Immediately, snowflakes began drifting down and landing on the illusions. They were suddenly frozen in place, their ugly jeering faces stuck as they were. Marigold smirked and relaxed as the snow landed on her and turned her robes Slytherin colors again. Much better. Some snowflakes drifted down and settled into piles. Gradually, those piles turned into the illusions of Marigold's fellow pureblood Slytherins, there, supporting her. Mari turned and nodded towards Professor Kellador, a small smirk playing on her lips.

"Very good, Miss Greengrass. Quite the interesting boggart," the Professor said hesitantly. It had been interesting. "But why, may I ask, did the snow appear?" Marigold shrugged and smiled coldly but sweetly. "I like the snow," she said as if the answer was as simple as that. She walked back to her seat and sat down, smirking calmly.

The brunette blinked, wondering what the last part of her friend's sentence was going to be. She opened her mouth to ask, but then decided against it. Sometimes it was okay not to know everything. Alexis then laughed at her for giggling when she took out her nail file, which appeared to have attracted the professor's attention. Figures, he looks away for all of two seconds... Amelia's thoughts began to wander as Alexis watched Greengrass' boggart-while brushing her hair at the same time. It was funny, Alexis claimed to be horrible at multi-tasking-unless one of the tasks involved beauty improvement. She usually seemed to handle that well.

Running a hand through her dark brown hair, and so lost in her wandering thoughts, Amelia almost didn't see Greengrass' boggart. Looking up, she managed to catch the last of it-people laughing at her and calling her a 'mudblood' while she wore Gryffindor robes before she froze them all with snowflakes. Figures, the Slytherin makes her fears go away with something I loathe. she thought wryly, turning to Alexis. "Anyone else left, do you know?"

"Anyone else left, do you know?" Even before Alexis could think about answering, Kellador was at his feet. "Very well done, Miss Greengrass, as I already said. Now, we do have quite a bit of time left, so I want to try something a bit different. I'm going to put you in a group, which you will talk about why that was your boggart, and why you changed it into...well...what you chaged it into. I think this is better than writing an essay about it...Yes. This will do."

Alexis sighed really loudly, and threw her hand up into the air. "Professor, can we at least...pick who we work with?" She looked over at Aki. Like hell she was going to work with a Slytherin...."Well, I was..." He paused for a second, and smiled at everyone in the room, 'But I think I will be picking them now. Miss Bones and Miss Greengrass, you two will be a group. He looked around the room, and beamed, "Ah, and of course Miss Locke and Mr. Sohma. You will most certainly work together. Oh! Mr. Donovan...you may work with Miss Bones and Miss Greengrass.

Alexis sighed so loudly, Kellador even heard it. She looked over at Aki again, and waved her hand a little. "Over here, handsome!" She said, in her most girlie-girl voice she could think of.

Akito wasn't even paying attention to the peoples boggarts anymore, just vaguely looking up to catch a glimpse each time. The class seemed to be going forever, hadn't it ended already? He looked around the room to check if everyone was still there, and sure enough they were. He caught Kellador saying something about lots of time, and then group work...He blinked and prayed to the god that he didn't believe in that he would be put with another Slytherin.

'Not a Hufflepuff...not..a..' he froze in mid-thought as he heard his and Locke's names put together. He slowly glanced over at the Hufflepuff as she called to him and narrowed his eyes in a glare with a scowl. 'Not fair! He /knew/ he did this on purpose' his cold gaze swiftly switched over to the Professor, sneering. 'The bastard wants me to suffer, brutally.' he sighed stood, adjusting his clothing to fit better, and grabbed his things. 'Handsome...how dare she? The disposal of her perky personality and light will be broken only quicker and more painfully if she continues to provoke me...' he thought nastily, grinning mentally. Of course he wouldn't show a grin, he was the look of pure rage right now, if he was to be put in a comic, his character would be drawn with little black storm clouds over his head and lightning coming out of the clouds.

His movements were calm, yet swift as he strided over to the Hufflepuff. He placed his books and whatnot coldly, but calmly down on the table they were going to be sitting at. He took a chair and edged it as far away from her as he possibly could, then looked down at the table with closed eyes for a moment, he slowly brought his gaze to her, piercingly cold and simply stared at her. "You first." He muttered only loudly enough that she could hear, he said nothing else but that, the tone was cold and obviously pissed off.

"You silly goof," She then grabbed his chair, and pulled it closer to her, "I have to be able to talk to you! Honestly...Stupid Slytherin...." She muttered that last part to herself. She gave him a dirty look, then her face became somewhat softer. "You sure you want me to go first? I tend to talk for like...ever! No really," She took the time to giggle, "I really like talking. I think we got out to a bad start..." She twirled her hair, and looked at his hood. She reached over, and pulled it down. "You don't think I'm going to talk to your hood, do you?"

She rolled her bright blue eyes a little. "Ok...I'll go first. Well....as you may /or maynot/, remember....My boggart was my little brother dying. Well, growing up, my little brother and I had to spend a lot of time together. Both my parents work nonstop, my older brother was in Hogwarts, and well...we weren't going to hang out with the people that clean our house..." She sighed softly for a moment, "So John and I became really good friends. Ya know? He's the only one in the world I let call me 'Lexis'. When we were really little, Johnny couldn't say 'Alexis', so he called me 'Lexis'. It was really sweet. Anyways, I'd have to say that John and I are just really close, and I love him so much. I'm really big on family love."

She looked down at the table. "One of the favorite memories with him is when he tried to teach me chess. It took him a full year." She giggled, "I'm kind of a slow learner...but that doesn't stop be from trying. He was so good....he even let me win a bit." She shook her head, and played with her locket.

He blinked her as she pulled the chair closer, and he set a death-glare on her and backed it away again. "It's not /that/ far away now. You can still hear me fine...." he grumbled and leaned his right elbow on the table, cupping his right check in his right palm, with a very bored expression. To cover up for his boggart, he would have to lie, and that was that. His blue eyes widened at her as she pulled his hood off. He scowled lowly at her and pulled it back up. "Don't you /dare/ lay a finger on me," he said with the coldest most dark and pissed off tone imaginable, his voice than lowered and he said something else, "Unless you wish to suffer a fate worse then death..." he glared at her and seemed ready to slap her in the face, but he didn't.

While she explained it, he wasn't really listening at all. Just enough to be able to answer questions if asked any. He ended up yawning a few times while she talked, not purposely, it just slipped out and he made no attempt to hold it back 'Wow...' he thought cynically, 'I'm nearly bored to tears.' he simply stared at her, unblinkingly while she talked, testing how long he could go without blinking.

As it seemed like she finished, he sighed with relief, "Uh huh, now wasn't that /enthralling/." his tone was obviously sarcastic and he remained staring at her. "Are you finished, then?"

"Don't you /dare/ lay a finger on me, Unless you wish to suffer a fate worse then death..." She gave him a swift smile. "Go ahead. I dare you. I think you're just a big teddy-bear. You wouldn't hurt me..." She raised an eyebrow, and went back to tell her boggart story.

As he yawned at what she was saying, she just let it go. She still went on with his story. She really opened up to him, and she didn't even know him. She never told anyone that story before...and there he was...yawning at it. This made Miss Locke very angry, very angry indeed. Her nose wrinkled up a little, and she had to bit her tounge. She heard him say something, so she /had/ to ignore this. "Are you finished, then?" She narrowed her eyes at him. "Oh...quite finished."

He scoffed at her, 'A big teddy bear', ohh...he'd show her. His left hand, the one that wasn't boredly cupping his face twitched slightly, the fingers squeezing into a fist. Of course he wouldn't do anything to her right here and now...no, he'd wait for the Professor to go away, and maybe until they were alone. That was when he would strike, and when he did, it would be slow and painful, the idea of torture didn't disgust him in the slightest, unless of course, he was the one being tormented.

He grinned slightly as he saw the anger on her face and nodded as she confirmed that she had finished. "Right then, I'll keep mine /short/. I'd be disgusted to be kissed by other male, and if anyone was to see it, even if it was by accident, I'd be humiliated for life." That was all, he had finished, with the slightest sneer on his face. His elbow came off the table and he began to stand, starting to pick up his stuff. "We're finished, then, eh?" he had completely gathered all his stuff, and simply stared down at her darkly, almost towering over her. With the free hand that wasn't holding his books, he adjusted his sweater, pulling it down a bit, making it fit tighter than it was before, it was black, with white broken hearts as a pattern, it looked sort of like a girls sweater, but he wore it regardless, as he pulled it down, it raised how low his hood was, revealing his eyes a bit more. He examined the locket around her neck for a split second, and a small grin twitched onto his face, 'That would sell nicely.' he grinned further and looked her in the eyes, if he was going to break her spirit anyways, he would take that too. Partly for the thrill, partly for the money. He wiped the grin off his face and turned it into a sneer, his trademark sneer, cynical and cruel.

He looked over her further, her style was...too happy, much too happy. He would manipulate her sad memories out of her when he was going to....do something, he would manipulate them out of her, and torment her with them. His greatest skill was illusions, manipulation and thievery, they all sort of fit into the same category, and judging by her attitude, she would be simple to crush.

Her bright blue eyes looked up at him. She let go of her hair, and said quietly, "That's not true..." She gave him a small smile. "What you just told me...it's not true." She bit her lip a little, and soon...she felt..terrible. She just opened up to him...this boy that seemed to hate her...and then he goes and lies to her? Not happening..."You don't have to tell me the truth....but you didn't have to lie to me." She shrugged her slim shoulders. She stood up as well, and she was just a tad smaller than him. That didn't seem to bother her.

She saw him look at her golden locket for a second. She smiled a little. She unclasped it, and handed it to him. "See? It has an 'A' on it, therefore you could wear it, too. I have a million of these.My dad would buy me one every time he went away for too long. He thought golden lockets were my favorite. He was right, I guess. Anyways, you may keep that one, if you like." She reached into her purse, and pulled out a white-gold one. It was shaped like a heart, and had a diamond 'A' on it. "This one is my favorite. I got it when I was born." She put that locket on, and gave him another quick smile. "Class isn't over yet." She said simplely.

Amelia patiently waited for Kellador to finish talking about sorting them into groups, although she glanced hopefully at Alexis. Unfortunately, Kellador appeared to thrive on his students' discomfort today, and she was paired with Greengrass and Donovan. The two people she was most hoping to be paired with...not. As if Slytherins seeing her boggart wasnt awful enough, now they had to explain it? Kellador is the devil...he must be...that's the only reason he would do something like this to me. She thought miserably as she went over to the table near the two Slytherins. Glumly, she slid her things underneath her seat and sighed. With a glance at Alexis, she noticed that her blonde friend was talking animatedly to Aki, so perhaps this wouldn't be so bad. Then again, Alexis would probably talk to You-Know-Who himself in that same exact way, so maybe she shouldn't put too much stock into what Alexis was doing. Turning away from her friend, Amelia settled her gaze on Greengrass and Donovan.

"Okay. You don't wanna talk about this with me. I don't wanna talk about this with you. We don't want to do this together. Let's keep this relatively simple and painless, all right? Not too many details." she suggested, looking both of them straight in the eye. It was a tactic she often used as a child-if you look them straight in the eye, they get uncomfortable, and become much easier to reason with, or get to see your way. "For example...I saw...complete chaos in which I didn't know where I was, or what was wrong. I like knowing things, like where I am and what I'm doing. So, not knowing anything would be bad. I like music, so I changed the screams into singing." That wasn't too bad. She would be able to tolerate this as long as neither of them asked her any questions that were too personal. "Who wants to go next?" she looked from one Slytherin to the other.

He glared at her, 'How does she know I'm lying...?' he grumbled and stared straight at her, still unblinking, he then heard her say something that made him burst out cackling cruelly, "You don't have to tell me the truth....but you didn't have to lie to me.", is what she had said. He shook his head at her with a frown. "Your stupidity never ceases to amaze me...that doesn't even make sense. If I wasn't telling you the truth, that would be lying, wouldn't it?" He shook his head again in disbelief. "Idiot girl." as she stood up he cocked his left eyebrow slightly higher than his right and pushed his chair in, taking a step back.

He blinked finally as she gave it to him, he took it for a moment, then his lips twitched into a frown, and his eyebrows narrowed, giving him a glare. He wouldn't ever wear this, and if it was priceless, why bother keeping it? He looked up from the little locket and at her, staring into her eyes. He decided to play the, 'What if', game. So he slowly turned his hand around and let the locket drop to the floor, and then crushed it with his foot, he looked back up at her slyly and shook his head. "This object is useless to me. I don't want it." he spoke dryly, the never-leaving cold tone still there, of course. He removed his foot from over the Locket, it was shattered a bit, and most of it was cracked, he stared at it for a moment longer, then looked back up at her, now eyeing the new locket she put on. Now, this one, was obviously valuable. That would be the one he would take. He sneered darkly at her, 'No more tricks...I know this one is worth something, Incompetent Hufflepuff.' his own voice echoed inside his head. As she reminded him that class wasn't older, he rolled his eyes and then spoke, "That doesn't mean I can't go back to my seat."
