The question on everyone's mind: Will Lily ever find out the true secret of Remus's aliment?

The Lily Flower says: YES!

So the Lilyflower proposes two parts of said plot.

Remus and Lily have been friends because of prefect duties and Remus would consider telling Lily. Of course he wouldn't do it without discussing it with said Marauders. Of course one such Marauder could read into that more then necessary. After all the school was famous for rumors and when can and girl and boy ever be friends? That would be part one of this lovely little plot bunny.

The second - Remus actually 'telling' Lily. Possibly during rounds. What will the Lily Flower's reaction be? We'll just to have to rp it out and find out!

The Lily Flower awaits confirmation along with said mun!

Remus and James having a bit of a falling out over it would be fun to RP I think, and it would be IC. Heh, I've just got an image on my head of Lily going "So that's why you call each other those stupid names. Everyone thinks it's very cute by the way, you make lovely boyfriends." Very Happy

I'd imagine Sirius to be highly opposed to this, and probably Peter too (although he'll be less vocal about it, and will probably eventually side with James, as always). James will be opposed at first, but I think after the way that he and Lily's relationship is unfolding, he'd like to have that big secret off of his back after he calms down.

Sirius can go jump up in a tree hehe. But yes I could see something along those lines happening, of course we'll have to see what Remus says. All we need are confirmations from Remus and Sirius and it's settled. A little bit of plotting, a little bit of commitment and we've got ourselves a plot thread full of lovely drama!

It sounds interesting to me, but there has to be a really good reason for Remus to tell her, because let's face it... if it got around school it would be a disaster for him, and he's a bit afraid of rejection (especially if they're great friends).

Perhaps she can drop some hints that shes supsicious to prompt Remus into discussing it with his fellow Marauders on whether or not he should tell her outright.

Does that make sense?

I like the idea, maybe part of the reason Sirius objects is because of the bond Remus' ailment has forged between the four? Just a thought.

LilyFlower agrees! After all it's always been the four Marauders and here's Lily being pulled in not only by Remus but in the near future by James. They're like family to Sirius - the only family he has since his family disowned him and he ran away - he would see it as her walking in and taking his friends away and breaking up the group.
